Company Overview:
Domantis is a biotechnology company that is engaged in the discovery and development new proprietary protein products that incorporate the biological benefits and commercial advantages of both large proteins and small molecules. The company has found one area in which has devoted special attention: Human Domain Antibodies. Domain antibodies (dAbs) are types of therapeutic molecules that actually include the beneficial characteristics of both small molecules and conventional antibodies. Specifically, dAbs are small in size and highly stable, resulting in a choice of therapeutic formats, delivery formulations and manufacture options, like small molecules. Like human antibodies, dAbs have the ability to be designed for specificity and high affinity in multiple biological targets.

Domantis holds exclusive rights over the intellectual property and technology related to Domain Antibodies. This gives the company a unique position as the only company which is fully capable utilizing these human Domain Antibodies for therapeutic development. (Due to the continued expansion of their Discovery pipeline, Domantis is present searching for further qualified scientists to join the company’s research efforts.)

Products and Services:
Human Domain Antibodies for Diverse Therapeutic Targets
Besides targets that are suited to conventional antibodies, dAbs can be adjusted to focus on other types of targets.
Injectable and Non-injectable Human Domain Antibodies
Domain Antibodies are uniquely suited to both by injection and delivery by non-injectable methods such as pulmonary and oral administration.

dAB Therapeutic Programs
Currently, there are around twelve proprietary Domain Antibody therapeutic programs. Most of these programs are centered on the areas of inflammation and oncology. Some of the therapeutic leads include dAbs that specifically neutralize cytokine receptor targets, and Dual Targeting dAbs that can bind two therapeutic targets in one easily designed molecule.

Dual Targeting dAbs
Dual Targeting dAbs are designed come against cytokine targets for inflammatory diseases, tumor antigens present on the same tumor cells for improved tumor targeting and tumor growth as well as related angiogenic factors for solid tumors.

Domain Antibodies with Engineered Serum Half-Life
Domantis has developed three formats for customizing the PK profile of Domain Antibodies:

* An IgG-like molecule that can bind and neutralize four target molecules
* PEGylated dAb for tailoring the half-life based on the type of PEG chosen
* AlbudAb approach, a dAb heterodimer that includes an anti-serum albumin dAb
