XOMA has a number of drugs in the pipeline and has had RAPTIVA, a humanized therapeutic monoclonal antibody developed in collaboration with Genentech, for the treatment of adults for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis approved by the FDA. Other drugs in development include CHIR-12.12, an anti-CD40 antagonist antibody intended as a treatment for B-cell malignancies; and NEUPREX, a modified recombinant fragment of bactericidal/permeability-increasing protein indicated for multiple anti-infective and antiendotoxin treatment.
It is also developing MLN2222, a complement inhibitor which aims to reduce the incidence of complications in patients undergoing surgical procedures involving the use of cardiopulmonary bypass and Gastrin, indicated for Gastric cancers.
