IMaCS' systems are Internet based solutions, which are designed specifically for hospitals and physician groups to solve core issues with accounts or invoices, contracts and insurance payors. They usually come in three versions:
• MaCS Performance: This is a Web-based contract management system for hospitals and helps collect dues and fees from Managed Care Organizations and Medicare Fiscal Intermediaries.
• MaCS Professional: This is a Web-based low-cost correct payment system for medium and large physician groups with a central billing office.
• MaCS Medicare: This is a Web-based low-cost correct payment system for hospitals with predominately Medicare patients. MaCS Medicare calculates the expected reimbursement on acute inpatients, outpatients, SNF, LTC, Rehab and Psych. It displays this information side-by-side with the Remittance Advice.
