Job Description:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. The hospital's mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Senior Database Analyst (Job Number 16526).

The Senior Database Analyst will serve as a technical resource for clinical research within the Cancer Center. The selected candidate will participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and databases using various relational database, client/server, and object-oriented tools and programming languages. The incumbent will provide front line support for divisional research database initiatives and serve as a departmental resource for software applications.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years related healthcare or business analysis or software development experience required.
• Experience using relational database management tools and query languages (e.g., SQL) required.
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., BRIO), JAVA, Visual Studio, and object-oriented analysis and software design preferred.
