Job Description:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. The hospital's mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Statistical Analyst (Job Number 17194).
The Statistical Analyst is responsible for providing knowledge in statistical analysis to institutional staff interested in conducting clinical or experimental studies or to other researchers as designated by grant relationships. Programming, analysis of data, graphical presentation and reporting of results, interpretation and explanation of statistical techniques used, and making valid inferences are to be appropriately executed under the direct guidance of a Biostatistics Faculty Member, Project Leader or Lead Senior Biostatistician. Direct collaboration with investigators and clinical research associates is not expected (or is done mainly through the Biostatistics Faculty Member, Project Leader, or Lead Senior Biostatistician).
Requirements:
* Master's Degree in biostatistics, applied statistics, or related field.
* Prior medical consulting and/or graduate research experience in a bio-statistical environment preferred.
