Job Description:
Parker HealthcareIT is a Seattle based healthcareIT staffing firm that specializes in the placement of contract and direct hire professionals into the healthcare environment. Most of our placements center around EMR Implementations within hospitals on a national basis.
We are currently recruiting for a direct hire IT Director for Ambulatory Affiliates in the Modesto, CA area for one of our clients recognized as a regional leader in cardiac care as well as a pioneer in advanced patient safety technology. This healthcare network embraces a mission focused on clinical excellence and quality, innovation, compassion and caring, teamwork, affordability and community service and outreach programs.
Senior leadership position as the IT Director will be responsible for oversight of all IS solutions and services for ambulatory affiliates within the integrated healthcare network. This includes over 25 clinics so physician management experience is important as well as ability to interface effectively at the physician and executive level. Must be willing to relocate to Modesto, CA.

Qualifications:

•Expert knowledge in healthcare information processing, application solutions and services that support healthcare admin and clinical functions, physician practice management, hospital /ER /urgent care / surgicenter operations, and clinical decision support
•Experience in data communications, network design, software app implementation and support, hardware evaluation and selection, and user support planning.
•Direct management experience in leading and managing teams in an IT environment
•Leadership and strategic planning experience as well as strong business acumen within a healthcare setting
•Vendor relationship management. Strong negotiation skills.
